Tara Warren Lancaster//Co-Director
Tara Warren Lancaster is the daughter of studio owner, Patricia Warren and Co-Director of Artistic Dance Academy making her the third generation of ADA.
She started dancing at the age of 5 after begging her Mom for years to become a ballerina. After graduating high school, she went off to study many different dance genres with Ingredients Dance Company (based in Dallas, Texas) where she quickly realized her love for Hip-Hop.

Being in Ingredients allowed Tara to study all over the United States including Chicago, Florida, and New York City. She also spent a summer in Mississippi studying with Ballet Magnificat. Tara teaches contemporary, jazz, hip hop, heels ballet, pre-k, and musical theater here at ADA.

Dellaney Frederick//Instructor
Dellaney Frederick is a graduate of Wayne School of Engineering. She recently graduated with her License of Practical Nursing from Wayne Community College.
She began dancing at ADA when she was 5 years old and has participated in Dance for Christ for 12 years. Her favorite genre of dance is ballet and teaching the littles! |
Peyton Glover//TumblingPeyton Glover graduated from the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English. She is also currently teaching as an Elementary School Special Education Teacher.
Peyton is certified through the Acrobatic Arts Association for Acrodance. Acrodance combines tumbling skills with dance skills to create safe, fluid routines that show of all students abilities. |
Peyton focuses on building strength, flexibility, and technique to allow for more advanced skills to be performed easily. She runs additional private lessons for students who wish to have more time to practice and improve theirs skills. Peyton has a very impressive background as she was a competing gymnast for 13 years prior to becoming a teacher. She took part in the USAG sanctioned meets throughout her childhood and participated in the NAIGC sanctioned meets through the University of Florida Club Gymnastics Team. She even competed in the popular TV show, America Ninja Warrior season 14!

Sydney Norris//InstructorSydney Norris is a graduate of Wayne Community College and a current student at East Carolina University where she is majoring in Family and Community Services. She has been dancing for 17 years and has been a teacher at ADA for three. She came to Artistic Dance to audition for Dance For Christ and fell in love with the people and atmosphere!

Jillian Pearce//Instructor
Jillian Pearce is a graduate from Wayne Country Day School in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Starting at two years old, Jillian has over 17 years of dance experience, She has been a dancer at Artistic Dance for ten years and has performed each year in their annual production of Dance For Christ.
In addition to her time at ADA, Jillian also spent two summers in New York City attending Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive. Jillian is looking forward to her first year as an instructor at ADA and is excited to see what God has in store for the upcoming dance season. |

I am so excited to be teaching this year and cannot wait to witness the growth of dancers like me as they find their love for dance at ADA.”

Joshua Crawford//Instructor
Joshua is a graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate degree in arts. He started teaching himself dance around the age of nine by watching videos of his favorite dancer, Michael Jackson, and copying his movements.
He enrolled in dance classes at ADA when he was 10 years old and has been dancing ever since. He has had 8 years of formal training in various genres such as hip hop, pop and lock, contemporary, modern, jazz, and ballet. He attributes many influences of his dancing and choreography to famous dancers such as Michael Jackson, James Brown, Poppin’ John, and many more. |
Mabry Chudy\\Student Teacher
Mabry has been dancing at ADA since the age of 5 and performing in Dance for Christ since age 9. She enjoys every genre from hip hop to ballet and tap to jazz, she loves learning it all. Growing up training with ADA has taught her to love dance and teaching. She hopes to provide young dancers with the same outlet the studio gave her growing up. |
